This Term we are celebrating the Olympics! We will be learning the name of some of the sports, people in our NZ team, countries that participate in the Olympics and where the Olympics started.

Look at what we got up to!
We collected cans for the Auckland city mission and made a tower.
Some children chose to count out 100 ice block sticks (which took a long time!). We had to think of the best way to do it so our counting was right. Some children decided to make 10 bundles of ten.
The children used the ice block sticks to make a tower.
Welcome to Term 2!
This Term our Topic is "Changes in the Kitchen" we will be mixing, boiling, freezing different materials to predict what might happen.
We are also very lucky as we are going to the Tip Top factory to learn how they make ice cream.
Room 6 will be heading off to MOTAT later in the Term and 15 Nohi Nohi will be going to the Star dome for their topic "Matariki"
Term 1
We have had many fantastic experiences so far this term! Please look at what we have been doing and share our wiki with your friends and family.
This Term we are looking at change. We are looking at the change between kindergarten and school and also the changes in ourselves since we were little. We visited MOTAT to learn about changes in the way we communicate with each other. We will be writing to our Grandparents to find out how things were different when they were our age! Some of us will write an email and some of us will write a letter. I wonder which will get there faster? I wonder which one our grandparents enjoy receiving the most?
